We are saddened to hear of the passing of our brother, the beloved and respected Muslim leader and teacher, Imam Qasim Ahmed. We knew and loved him as an energetic and productive servant of Allah in fulfilling the need for Islamic teaching wherever there was a sincere and interested student, at any setting on the earth, on any day of the week, or any hour of the day. We thank Allah for him and for his example and life-long commitment. We pray for Allah's Mercy on him. We extend our warmest thoughts and most heartfelt condolences to his family. We encourage all who knew him and benefitted from his tireless efforts for al-Islam and the Islamic community to reach to his family and provide them the support all Believers are due, and any assistance they may require in this time.
